Ward Refurbishments; Project Value: £400,000

A new accelerated recovery strategy designed to make improvements in post operative care and improve theatre usage resulted in a series of ward redesignation and refurbishment projects.

The projects involved low key and major internal strip out, re-configuration and refurbishment works. Special consideration was made in ensuring phased works did not reduce the effective working of the wards.

Other Projects for Addenbrookes Hospital have included: A new Multi-storey Car Park and landscaped public square: £12 million, extension and refurbishment to the Department of Nuclear Medicine: £4.5 million, CT Suite refurbishment: £1.7 million.
