About This Project

The result of a highly collaborative partnership between the London Borough of Redbridge and the Luminus Group, the redevelopment of a former lock-up garage site in Woodford Green has delivered eight new family homes on a complex and narrow site.

The development of affordable family dwellings is in the form of a gateway building with five apartments over three floors and a  block of three townhouses which is accessed by a mews type space with parking.

Designed to prevent overlooking and overshadowing in a surprisingly dense area the scale and form are carefully crafted to create a sense of place that compliments the existing context.
